Mistletoe contains amino acids and sugars, viscerin, oleanolic and ursolic acids, choline, amines, flavonoids, including quercetin, oils, ascorbic acid and carotene.
Mistletoe infusion has a diuretic, hypotensive, sedative, astringent, hemostatic and anthelmintic effect.
Taking mistletoe helps cleanse the body of harmful substances.
Herbal infusion is prescribed for hypertension and dizziness, nosebleeds and hemorrhoidal bleeding, dyshormonal bleeding during menopause, epilepsy, nervous excitement and hysteria, stomach cramps and intestinal atony.
Mistletoe increases immunity and overall tone of the body. Externally, mistletoe decoction is used for skin infections and other skin diseases and for douching for colpitis and leucorrhoea in combination with tree infusion. With prolonged use of mistletoe infusion, poisoning may develop. Water infusion: 1 teaspoon of mistletoe leaves with stalks (chopped) infuse in 1 glass of cold water for 6-8 hours. Take 1/4 cup 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. For rheumatic pain, osteochondrosis, radiculitis, polyarthritis, rub with infusion: pour 3 tablespoons of mistletoe with 2 glasses of boiling water, infuse. To ease labor pains, drink a decoction for 10 days: 30 g of mistletoe is boiled over low heat for 10 minutes in 1 liter of water, infuse for 40 minutes. Drink 0.5 cups 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. For uterine bleeding: pour 20 g of mistletoe and 20 g of horsetail with 1 liter of dry wine. Boil over low heat in a closed container for 10 minutes, leave for 15 minutes. Drink 2 tbsp. 3 times a day. Vodka tincture is used for all of the listed diseases, including cancerous tumors of various organs: fill 1/4 of a bottle with mistletoe and pour 0.5 liters of vodka, leave for 21 days. Take 20-30 drops 3 times a day. You can also do this: grind mistletoe into flour, pour 1 tsp of powder with a glass of boiling water overnight in a thermos. Take 2 tbsp. in small sips 10-20 minutes before meals.
