Calendula, or it is also called “marigold” – flowers of golden-yellow, orange or reddish-orange color. They have a pleasant smell, due to the content of essential oil. They are a herbal medicinal raw material. Calendula is a true storehouse of a wide variety of medicinal qualities. A very tasty, invigorating tea is prepared from calendula with the addition of marigolds, peppermint and a slice of lemon. Calendula is added to soups, pastries, herbal tinctures, homemade liqueurs, sauces. Everyone knows the properties of calendula for the treatment of respiratory diseases, dental problems, it heals wounds, burns, removes warts, improves digestion. Ointments, tinctures, decoctions, infusions, balms, teas, rubs, plasters, lotions, douching liquid are prepared from marigolds. Brewing method: 1 tbsp. pour 0.2 l of boiling water, leave for 30 minutes, strain. Take in equal parts 3 times a day before meals.
